Job summary

Humanoid is building the world’s most capable humanoid robots and expanding in real industrial pilots. We seek a Software Engineer to design backend services that coordinate fleets of robots and enable operators to author, deploy, and manage workflows at scale.

You’ll work across backend and product teams on real-time, multi-tenant systems, from API design to data infrastructure and deployment pipelines, with a strong emphasis on observability, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Backend development with a strong focus on scalable systems.
• Experience designing and evolving APIs for distributed services.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containers, and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services coordinating robot fleets in real time.
• Develop workflow authoring tooling enabling operators to define, deploy, and refine robot workflows.
• Create on-robot services for remote control, state reporting, and diagnostics.
• Own data infrastructure for workflow execution, logs, metrics, and audit trails.
• Build reliable, secure cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, observability and alerts.
• Implement testing and validation pipelines including simulation-based checks.
