Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Trainer / Instructional Designer to support the rollout of a new Workday HR platform across the organisation. This hands-on role combines training delivery, content creation and stakeholder engagement, with both virtual and classroom sessions.

The role is a 6-month fixed-term contract, salary £35,000 pro rata, start in November, and location is remote in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering training for Workday or HRIS platforms.
• Background in Learning & Development, Training or Instructional Design.
• Experience creating training materials from scratch.
• Ability to deliver both virtual and in-person training sessions.
• Experience supporting system implementations and change programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop learning materials to support the Workday implementation.
• Deliver engaging virtual and classroom-based training sessions.
• Create user guides, quick reference guides and e-learning content.
• Conduct training needs analysis across different user groups.
• Collaborate with HR, project teams and SMEs to develop learning solutions.
• Support change adoption and user readiness activities.
• Deliver train-the-trainer sessions when required.
• Provide go-live and post-implementation support to end users.
• Gather feedback and continuously improve learning content and delivery methods.
