  • Recommend the best solution based on the client’s requirements, budget, and timeframe, with flexibility to adapt the scope as new needs are identified.
  • Guide clients through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and each client’s unique business requirements.
  • Develop and configure accurate forecasting and planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning to meet client needs.
  • Plan and conduct training sessions for users; document planning models and reporting delivered to clients.
  • Ensure rapid time-to-value by delivering engagements on time and within budget.
  • Support our clients to ensure success – communicate regularly, concisely, and clearly to set proper expectations; provide general customer service and act as the go-to resource on project inquiries.
  • Collaborate internally by sharing learnings and problem-solving with colleagues.
  • Support business development activities – assist in the sales process and produce delivery estimates.
  • Develop people – manage, coach and develop a small number of staff, focusing on performance and career development.

Must have

  • Experience designing and building complex financial planning models, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to conceptualise a client’s business model and translate it into a working model in the software.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues, including in remote settings; ability to formally present to senior client audiences.
  • Broad business and technology understanding and awareness of industry trends within Financials and ERP.
  • Proven ability to lead and work effectively within teams and with customers while fostering an inclusive culture.
  • Understanding of project methodologies and how they contribute to successful projects.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and make decisions under pressure with a balanced view of customer demands and project economics.
  • Strong consulting skills (presenting, leading workshops, demonstrations, and explaining complex functionality or solutions to customers).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, coach and develop team members and the wider community.
  • Ability to implement improvements in tools and/or processes to help the practice.
  • Able, if required, to travel to customer sites in the same region (minimal out-of-region travel may also be required).

Nice to have

  • Experience implementing at least one Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system (e.g., Workday Adaptive Planning, Host Analytics, Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or Business.
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or part-qualified accountant with strong industry experience.
