Kier Transportation in Shropshire is seeking Winter Maintenance Drivers to join our Transportation team on a fixed term zero hour contract until April 2027. The role covers Shrewsbury, Craven Arms or Oswestry with flexible days/nights/weekends and call‑out as weather demands.
Salary is £18.50 per hour with weekly pay. You will drive gritter vehicles to spread salt, fit a snow plough when needed, and keep driver/vehicle records up to date.
We're looking for Winter Maintenance Drivers that can cover unsociable hours on a rota basis including weekends to join our Transportation team based in Shropshire.

As a Winter Maintenance Driver, you'll be working within the Maintenance team, supporting them in key essential works, driving gritting vehicles to spread salt onto the roads during colder days and nights, keeping the UK's roads moving.
