Job summary

Majestic Wine Group is seeking a dynamic candidate for a 12-month Trainee Manager development programme to learn operational, service and leadership standards for future store management.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence (12 months+), willingness to travel to support surrounding stores, and a 44-hour week including evenings and weekends. Permanent contract with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced retail or hospitality environments delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to deliver outstanding customer experience and service to every customer
• Full UK manual driving licence held for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and improving KPI performance
• Deliver market leading customer service to grow business through loyalty and repeat purchases
• Provide VIP concierge service and keep customers informed about products and tastings
• Sell the wine story through knowledge, tastings, and commercially savvy events
• Develop wine knowledge to support WSET qualifications and selling confidence
• Maintain store appearance and ensure safe, compliant operations
• Participate in all day-to-day operations including deliveries and stock management
• Identify opportunities to improve store operations and processes
