Job summary

Majestic Wine Poole is seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant to support the store team, drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service. The role requires flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, plus driving a company van with a full UK manual licence (12+ months).

You will help maintain the store, implement wine knowledge, and contribute to KPI targets while delivering a VIP customer experience and wine-related tastings when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Excellent time-management, delegation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service and sales orientation.
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and with a team.
• Willingness to learn and improve knowledge of wines.
• Possess a full UK manual driving licence (held 12+ months) with up to 6 points.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support store team to drive sales performance and daily operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to optimise KPI performance.
• Act as an ambassador for the store and engage with customers.
• Deliver wine to customers and manage stock deliveries.
• Maintain store appearance and comply with policies.
