Job summary

Majestic Wine Banstead is seeking a proactive Sales Assistant/Driver to support the store team, drive sales and deliver outstanding customer experiences. The role combines hands-on store duties, product knowledge growth and direct customer interaction.

You will be the store ambassador, taking ownership of opening/closing duties, stock deliveries and helping to grow customer loyalty through a VIP service approach. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills.
• Able to deliver exceptional customer experience to every customer.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently and in a team.
• Commitment to learning about products to aid selling (WSET level 2 is desirable).
• Hold a full UK/EU/EEA driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and supporting the team to meet targets.
• Deliver market-leading customer service to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Provide VIP concierge-style service, including product updates and tastings.
• Maintain in-store appearance and assist with stock delivery and merchandising.
• Execute daily store operations and compliance with internal policies.
