Job summary

Golf Holdings is seeking a customer-focused wine retailer to join our Winemark team. You will assist the Store Manager, deliver excellent service, and maintain product knowledge across our range.

responsibilities include stock control, merchandising to company standards, and supporting promotional setups while ensuring safety, cash handling, and regulatory compliance are followed. A WSET certificate and driving licence are desirable.

Qualifications

• Essential Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent.
• Desirable WSET Foundation Certificate.
• A valid driving license plus access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Provide the best level of service to Winemark customers according to the Company’s standards and procedures.
• Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of the business including sales, security and stock control.
• Assist in customer relations by maintaining excellent customer service and up-to-date product knowledge.
• Identify selling opportunities and act on these opportunities.
• Maintain housekeeping standards inside and outside the store according to Company standards.
• Ensure stock is controlled and merchandised to Company standards and assist with promotional setup.
• Ensure premises are safe and secure and comply with cash handling and administration procedures.
• Comply with health and safety information and licensing/trading standards legislation.
