Job summary

Majestic Wine Group in Southampton is seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant to support the store team, drive sales performance and manage the day‑to‑day operations with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and a welcoming shopping experience. A full UK manual driving licence held for 12 months+, occasional evenings and weekend shifts, and a passion for wine are essential.

You will develop product knowledge toward WSET Level 2, contribute to store merchandising, and enjoy staff

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Strong customer service focus with KPI awareness.
• Ability to learn wine knowledge and pursue WSET Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to build loyalty.
• Support merchandising and stock deliveries.
• Be an ambassador for the store and Majestic Ways of Working.
• Perform opening/closing compliance as a key holder.
