Job summary

Majestic Wine in Ealing is seeking a dynamic Trainee Manager to join the UK’s leading wine specialist. You’ll embark on a 12-month development programme that covers operations, service and leadership standards to prepare you for future Store Manager roles.

You’ll lead a small team, deliver outstanding customer experiences, drive sales and tastings, manage stock deliveries and daily store operations while building knowledge of our range and wine protections.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environments.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience to every customer.
• Able to problem solve under pressure and prioritise tasks.
• Willing to travel to surrounding stores and drive company vans.
• Wine knowledge is a plus; passion to learn.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and KPI targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Promote VIP concierge service with product updates and tastings.
• Maintain knowledge of our range and run tasting counter events.
• Support store operations including deliveries and merchandising.
• Support development and mentoring of junior team members.
