Job summary

Majestic Wine is seeking a dynamic Trainee Manager for the Stow-on-the-Wold area. You will embark on a 12-month development programme covering operational, service and leadership standards to prepare you for future Store Manager roles.

You'll drive store performance, deliver outstanding customer service and manage wine knowledge with the aim of qualifying for WSET levels while maintaining store appearance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environments.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience to every customer.
• Strong problem solving under pressure.
• Self-motivated and able to work alone or in a team.
• Passion for wine and willingness to learn more (WSET Level 2/3 preferred).
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence for at least 12 months with max 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximizing sales opportunities and improving KPIs.
• Deliver excellent customer service to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Offer VIP concierge service and proactive product tastings communications.
