Majestic Wines Docklands is seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales and daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards.

This permanent role requires 44 hours per week, evenings and weekends, and a full UK manual driving licence. Salary £31,062.35. You will lead a team, develop product knowledge, and contribute to tasting events and VIP service.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environments.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service.
• Understanding of retail KPIs and how to drive improvements.
• Ability to prioritise and solve problems under pressure.
• Self-motivated and able to work alone or in a team.
• Can-do attitude with commitment to solutions.
• Excellent communication and time management.
• WSET 2 and 3 qualifications encouraged.
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence for at least 12 months and no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsabilités

• Support Store Manager in driving the performance and day-to-day operations.
• Drive sales by maximising opportunities and optimise KPI performance.
• Provide exceptional customer service to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Offer VIP concierge service with updates on products and tastings.
• Promote the product story through tasting counters and events.
• Assist with recruitment, management and development of the team.
• Develop team product knowledge and support WSET qualifications.
• Ensure store appearance and maintenance and escalate issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve store operations.
• Ensure compliance and mandatory training.
• Support store, regional and business communications
