Majestic Wine Banstead is seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering sales performance, day-to-day operations and an exceptional customer experience.

You will drive KPI performance, manage a team, and develop staff, with responsibilities including running tastings, training, and maintaining store standards. WSET 2 is essential; a willingness to progress to WSET 3. Full UK driving license and a 44-hour week with a permanent contract. Salary £30,642.26.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environments.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service.
• Understanding retail KPIs and how to drive improvements.
• Able to prioritise and problem solve under pressure.
• Self-motivated, works well solo or in a team.
• WSET 2 qualification is essential; progression to WSET 3 encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Support Store Manager in driving performance and day-to-day operations.
• Provide an outstanding shopping experience for customers.
• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and improving KPIs.
• Lead VIP concierge-style service, updates on products and tastings.
