Job description – National Account Manager – Wholesale and Convenience

The company is a food start up with two exciting brands recently launched in the snacking category. We have in our first three months of active sales achieved official listings in three large national retail chains.,

Role Details: Minimum 3 years of FMCG Food sales experience in the UK.

  • Salary: £35K-£40k a year (DOE)
  • Annual performance Related Bonus:
  • 23 days paid leave + all UK bank holidays
  • Office location – Vauxhall, London
  • Hybrid – 3 days a week in office
  • Equipment Provided - Laptop, Mobile Phone, Car allowance and expenses
  • Proficient in Microsoft office – word, excel, PP.

As a NAM for the company, you:

  • Drive sales in the Wholesale and Convenience sector
  • Create and implement the sales strategy for the sector working closely with the head of sales,
  • Are the face of our brands, forging unbreakable relationships with key decision makers in the wholesale and convenience sector in the UK with the ability to deliver world class customer service.
  • Are responsible for fulfilling distribution, availability and visibility targets. Using your entrepreneurial mindset, you will manage and drive the success of your own area.
  • Will maximise brand awareness, educate clients on new product opportunities and implement store activations.
  • Will have the autonomy to work using your own initiative and effectively manage your own workload to achieve targets and could qualify for exciting incentives. You are expected to be out of the office a minimum of 3 days a week. You are expected to deliver weekly reports and detailed journey plans.
  • Will receive full product training and ongoing support to enable you to fulfil the role to your best potential, with clear development opportunities for engaged employees.
  • Will join a fun, honest working environment where performance and success are recognised and rewarded.

Who are we looking for?

You will possess demonstrable experience within a FMCG food sales environment, although we will also consider applications from motivated individuals with experience from other sectors. You will be passionate about the amazing brands we sell and have the drive and tenacity to succeed.

Must bring with them a strong active contact book in the wholesale and convenience sector in the UK. Knowledge of the snacking sector is a bonus.
