Job Description

As the Delegate Sales Manager, you'll be liaising with top level executives across number of industries, talking them through the client's very focused and professional event format. There is a focus on attracting new business and you'll be using your telephone, LinkedIn and other communication channels skills to speak with the right DMs and build a long-term relationship.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Meet or exceed sales targets that align with the department and overall business strategy
  • Using a consultative sales approach, establish relationships with prospective delegates via telephone to support the promotion of specific campaigns
  • Thoroughly research and understand the different industries our conferences serve in order to field questions from prospects and accurately articulate conference benefits and themes to articulate the value proposition
  • Proactively identifies new prospects and new business opportunities
  • Maintain sales database by including details of sales calls for tracking and relationship management purposes
  • Manage schedule for follow-up calls
  • Produce a weekly market feedback report that contributes to the continuous improvement of our conferences
  • Ensure delegate registrations are updated in the CRM system accurately
  • Full ownership of your campaign

The Successful Applicant

The successful Delegate Sales Manager candidate will have the following:

  • Demonstrable track record in B2B Event Delegate Sales
  • Proven track record of consistently hitting and exceeding targets and KPIs
  • Fluent, business level English and excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening, empathy and the ability to ask probing questions
  • Detail-oriented, decisive and a master multi-tasker
  • Must be comfortable working independently and operating with a degree of autonomy and discretion
  • Experience in accurately inputting, maintaining and navigating customer data in CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Fully remote role

£30,000 - £42,000 annually + uncapped commission

Working US hours (12pm - 8pm)
