Wholesale National Account Manager

The Role:
As a National Account Manager – Wholesale, you will be responsible for managing and growing our most important wholesale partnerships, including Bidfood, Brakes, and DDC. This is a pivotal role working alongside our OOH Commercial Manager and Head of Sales to grow PerfectTed’s footprint across the wholesale channel, driving volume, visibility, and value.
Key Responsibilities:
• Account Management: Own and manage relationships with Bidfood, Brakes, and DDC, ensuring growth in volume, value, and profitability.
• Strategy Execution: Build and implement strategic account plans that align with commercial goals and drive forward momentum across wholesale.
• Joint Business Planning: Lead annual JBPs and quarterly reviews, negotiating commercials, pricing, and promotional plans that drive ROI.
• Operational Excellence: Work with supply chain and wholesale depots to ensure strong availability, ranging, and stock management.
• Data-Driven Insights: Analyse sales and depot-level performance data to identify opportunities, mitigate risk, and inform decision-making.
• Channel Activation: Partner with the marketing team to activate promotional campaigns and NPD launches in-depot.
• Customer Development: Support the field sales team and foodservice customers by driving pull-through of PerfectTed products within end-user accounts.
About You:
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience managing national wholesale accounts (Bidfood, Brakes, or DDC)
• Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to grow wholesale business, manage margin and P&L, and execute customer-specific strategies.
• Relationship Builder: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Execution Focused: Strong understanding of how to activate and win in a wholesale environment.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a self starter mentality.
