Head of Commercial Recruitment @ Alexander Steele | Food, Drinks & FMCG

Location: Home Based (Northern England / Midlands)

Salary: Up to £65k + bonus + benefits

Alexander Steele Recruitment is working exclusively with a growing food manufacturing group with multiple sites and brands. The company is in an exciting growth phase.

The role is newly created. The successful candidate will lead all existing major retail customer accounts and collaborate with a team on new business development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage key accounts (Major Retailers) daily
2. Negotiate terms, cost prices, and JBPs
3. Manage promotional activities & seek new ranging opportunities
4. Plan customer activation & activities
5. Handle export planning and forecasting (for international accounts)
6. Monitor customer OL (Own Label) requirements including artwork, availability, and NPD
7. Prepare weekly performance reports & budget plans
8. Resolve customer queries related to availability, POs, product run-outs, and complaints
