Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is seeking installers to help drive the renewable energy revolution by installing low carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps. You will use your domestic heating knowledge to wire and fit unvented cylinders, pipework and radiators, while coordinating with the team and customers.

The role requires Level 2 NVQ plumbing/heating or equivalent, gas qualifications (CCN1/CENWAT) and a clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing and Heating or Mechanical Engineering Services - Plumbing.
• Gas qualification CCN1 and CENWAT held for at least three years.
• Experience on the wet side of domestic heating systems.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Install low carbon technology in customers' homes as part of a two-person team.
• Prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework and radiators in domestic systems.
• Plan and communicate with the wider team and customers.
• Learn about new technologies at our R&D training centre.
