Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is seeking a skilled installer to work with a two-person team, bringing expertise in domestic heating, plumbing, and low carbon technology. You will install air source heat pumps initially, assemble unvented cylinders, pipework, and radiators, and coordinate with the customer and the broader team.

The role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and problem solving, with a path for ongoing learning at our innovative R&D centre and a supportive development

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating or Mechanical Engineering Services for domestic work.
• Gas Qualified with CCN1 and CENWAT for at least three years.
• Experience on the wet side of domestic heating systems.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Install low carbon technology in customers' homes as part of a two-person team.
• Prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework, and radiators.
• Plan and communicate with the wider team and customers.
• Continuously learn about new technologies at the R&D training centre.
