Job summary

Octopus Energy is seeking a field engineer based in Wolverhampton to install low carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps. You will apply your plumbing knowledge to fit unvented cylinders, pipework, and radiators, and coordinate with the team and customers.

Wolverhampton-based role with a strong focus on learning, safety, and delivering high-quality installations. A base salary is offered with performance incentives and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing and Heating or Mechanical Engineering Services - Plumbing and/or Gas CCN1/CENWAT.
• Experience on the wet side of domestic heating systems.
• Full UK driving licence with ≤6 points.

Responsibilities

• Install low carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps.
• Prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework, and radiators.
• Plan and communicate with the wider team and customers.
• Learn about new technologies at the R&D training centre.
