Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is hiring to install Air Source Heat Pumps and other low carbon tech in customers' homes, starting in the Wolverhampton area. You will work with a small two-person team to fit plumbing and heating components and coordinate with customers throughout the job.

Ideal candidates have Level 2 NVQ Plumbing & Heating or Gas CCN1/CENWAT, a full UK driving licence, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing & Heating or Mechanical Engineering Services - Plumbing (domestic) or Gas qualification.
• Gas CCN1 and CENWAT held for at least three years is required.
• Experience with wet domestic heating systems is essential.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Install low carbon tech in customers' homes as part of a two-person team.
• Prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework and radiators.
• Plan and communicate with the wider team and customers.
• Learn about new technologies at the R&D training centre.
