Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is seeking an install engineer to help our customers switch to renewable heating technologies. You’ll work in a two-person team to install low carbon solutions, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps, and contribute to planning with the customer and team.

You’ll use your plumbing and heating experience to install unvented cylinders, radiators, and pipework, while staying curious about new tech at our R&D centre. London weighting applies for those within M25.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing and Heating or Mechanical Engineering Services - Plumbing.
• Gas Qualified with CCN1 and CENWAT, held for at least three years.
• Experience on the wet side of domestic heating systems.

Responsibilities

• Install low carbon technology in customers’ homes, working with a small team.
• Prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework, and radiators.
• Plan and communicate with the wider team and customers.
• Continue learning about new technologies at the R&D training centre.
