Job summary

Octopus Energy Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a field-based installer to fit low carbon tech in customers’ homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps. You will bring knowledge of domestic heating and plumbing to prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework and radiators.

You will plan and communicate with the wider team and customers, and continuously learn at our R&D training centre. A Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing and Heating or Mechanical Eng Services, or Gas CCN1/CENWAT, with three

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing and Heating or Mechanical Eng Services - Plumbing (domestic).
• Gas Qualified with CCN1 and CENWAT, at least three years.
• Experience on the wet side of domestic heating systems.

Responsibilities

• Install low carbon technology in customers’ homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps.
• Prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework and radiators.
• Plan and communicate with the wider team and customers.
• Continually learn about new technologies at the R&D training centre.
