Job summary

Virgin Active is seeking a New Member & Sales Host to join our Acquisitions team in a full-time role. You will drive membership sales, lead guided tours, and deliver a standout onboarding experience for new members as they settle into the club and their first 90 days.

You will welcome members, nurture relationships, and collaborate with instructors and staff to ensure a seamless, premium club experience while meeting targets and upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, hospitality, wellness, or customer-facing environments.
• Strong passion for people, wellness and meaningful connection.
• Ability to meet and exceed targets while delivering a premium experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – warm, confident, and engaging.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• A proactive, positive attitude and a natural sense of care and hospitality.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and club events.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of individual membership sales targets, contributing to club growth and retention.
• Engage prospects with empathy and curiosity, delivering value-led tours based on goals.
• Drive self-generated leads and maintain consistent follow-up using CRM systems.
• Personally welcome new members and deliver a tailored onboarding experience.
• Guide members through their first 90 days, ensuring regular engagement and belonging.
• Collaborate with instructors, trainers, and club teams for a seamless experience.
• Maintain high standards of administration, time management and communication.
• Support smooth operation of the club and uphold Virgin Active brand standards.
