Job summary

Virgin Active in Greater London is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the Maintenance Team. You will operate and maintain a preventative maintenance programme for the site, including building shell and grounds, under the supervision of your line manager.

Key duties include ensuring compliance with engineering standards, maintaining fixtures, performing daily/weekly checks, and reporting issues promptly.

Qualifications

A technical Level 2 qualification or higher is required.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain a preventative maintenance programme for the site under supervision.
Ensure building shell and surrounding grounds are maintained to high standards.
Adhere to daily and weekly checks and maintain accurate records.
Follow Health & Safety policies and report issues promptly.
Maintain basement, plant rooms, roof and fire exits to company standards.
Take ownership in challenging situations and support club members.
Support the wider club team with queries in a professional manner.
Fulfil duty shifts with responsibility during the shift.
