Job summary

Virgin Active, a Social Wellness Club, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to manage and execute a preventative maintenance programme for the entire site, including building shell and grounds, under supervision. The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with a focus on safety, upkeep and efficient operations across the club.

Qualifications

• A technical Level 2 qualification of City & Guilds equivalent or higher.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a preventative maintenance programme for the site under supervision.
• Monitor building fixtures and fittings to high standards of order and tidiness.
• Conduct daily/weekly checks and maintain accurate records.
• Follow Health & Safety policies and report issues promptly.
• Maintain plant rooms, basement, roof and exits to company standards.
• Take ownership of issues such as member complaints and assist with queries.
