Job summary

Virgin Active in Bromley is seeking a Maintenance Engineer on a fixed-term contract to join the Maintenance Team. You will operate and maintain a preventative maintenance programme for the whole site, including the building shell and surrounding grounds, under the supervision of your line manager.

The role requires a City & Guilds Level 2 qualification or higher, a focus on health and safety, and proactive problem solving as you work with club staff and members to keep facilities in top

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the facility adheres to all engineering compliance standards and safety procedures.
• Monitoring fixtures and fittings to maintain high standards of order and tidiness.
• Adhering to daily and weekly checks and keeping accurate records.
• Following Health & Safety policies and reporting issues promptly.
• Maintaining basement, plant rooms, roof and fire exits to company standards.
