Job summary

Virgin Active is hiring a Maintenance Manager in Bromley, Greater London. You will lead preventative maintenance for the site, including the building shell and grounds, with a 40-hour week.

You will manage the club Maintenance Engineer, coordinate work rotations, and handle monthly budgets in collaboration with senior management. A Level 2 City & Guilds or higher is required, with 5 years in a related sector.

Qualifications

• A technical Level 2 qualification of City & Guilds equivalent or higher.
• 5 years' experience within a relevant sector.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance problems and queries are dealt with efficiently.
• Ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely and in line with policies and current health and safety legislation.
• Monitor basic fixtures and fittings to maintain high standards of order and tidiness.
• Adhere to daily & weekly checks and keep accurate records.
• Directly manage the club Maintenance Engineer and organize work rotations.
• Manage the monthly budget for maintenance with GM and Op Manager.
• Act as point of contact for external technicians and companies.
• Fulfill duty shifts with responsibility during the shift and staff control.
