Job summary

St Mary’s Care Group in Lincoln is seeking a warm and enthusiastic Wellbeing Assistant to join the Lincoln Manor team. You will plan and deliver activities that suit residents’ interests, creating a social and inclusive environment while supporting hobbies and community events.

The role requires some evenings and weekend work as part of a 32-hour week in a permanent part-time capacity. A compassionate attitude and strong organisational skills are essential to help make every day meaningful for

  • Experience in a care or activity setting is a bonus.
  • Ability to plan and deliver activities tailored to residents' interests.
  • Commitment to dignity, respect and person-centred care.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to individual residents.
  • Create a warm, inclusive and social environment.
  • Support residents in maintaining existing hobbies and discovering new ones.
  • Organise social events, seasonal celebrations and community involvement.
  • Coordinate outings and excursions to promote wellbeing.
  • Work with care staff and families to support holistic wellbeing.
  • Record participation and feedback to ensure meaningful engagement.

What You’ll Be Doing
