Alpadia Language Schools seeks a dedicated Welfare Officer for a residential summer camp in London Woldingham. You will lead safeguarding, welfare, and student support, ensuring a safe, well-organised environment while supervising a welfare team and coordinating with camp staff.

The role requires experience in safeguarding, welfare or residential management with young people, plus strong communication and organisational skills.

Formación

• A high degree of IT competency (Outlook & MS Office, specifically Excel).
• Proven experience in a pastoral, welfare, safeguarding, or residential management role with children or young people.

Responsabilidades

• Prioritize students' safety and implement safeguarding policies with Camp Manager.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Staff and manage welfare incidents professionally.
• Manage attendance registers and liaise with internal/external stakeholders on student welfare.
• Coordinate transfer plans with students and Group Leaders to ensure smooth departures.
• Lead and train staff; create and distribute Welfare Officer rota; line-manage Welfare Team.
• Monitor student behaviour and enforce Alpadia rules with a supportive approach.
• Oversee check-in/check-out and accommodation allocations; handle pocket money administration.
• Assist with daily camp operations including marketing uploads, catering calculations, and reports.
• Participate in daily meetings and contribute to process improvements.
