Job summary

Alpadia Language Schools is recruiting a Camp Manager for London Woldingham, to lead staff, safeguard students and ensure high-quality academic and activities programmes at a residential camp.

You will oversee welfare, health and safety, budgeting, logistics and communication with schools, parents and partners while maintaining a positive, inclusive camp environment and delivering an exceptional summer experience for international students.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing or coordinating camps or youth programmes.
• Experience leading teams and supervising staff in a fast-paced setting.
• Demonstrated safeguarding and welfare leadership for young people.
• Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with budgeting, logistics and camp admin.
• Familiarity with health & safety regulations and emergency procedures.
• IT proficiency including Outlook and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate staff management to deliver high-quality programmes.
• Safeguard wellbeing of students and act as Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Oversee language, activities and welfare programmes for a positive student experience.
• Manage admin tasks, weekends, registers and pocket money administration.
• Control camp financial procedures and expenditure with accountability.
• Coordinate transfers and travel logistics for students.
• Communicate with host school, parents, agents and partners.
