Job summary

Proactive Personnel Ltd currently seeks a MIG welder to join our Leyland site. You will bench/mig weld, interpret blueprints and follow welding procedures to assemble metal structures.

Hours are Monday to Thursday, 4-day week, 05:45 to 16:15. Pay is £14.55 per hour PAYE, with weekly pay every Friday. You will be invited to a short weld test on site; safety footwear is required.

On successful completion you may be offered a role on the spot after the test.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG welding in fabrication environments.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow welding procedures.
• Familiar with stick welding and other joining techniques.
• Ability to use power and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Committed to maintaining a safe work environment.

Job description

Proactive Personnel are currently looking for MIG Welders to start work in Leyland.

• Bench / MIG welding, you will be instrumental in the fabrication and assembly of metal components.
• Assemble metal structures by interpreting blueprints and following welding procedures.
• Utilise power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and weld metal components.
• Conduct stick welding and other welding techniques to join metals effectively.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Hours are Monday - Thursday (4 day working week) 05.45am to 16.15pm.

Pay is £14.55 per hour, paid PAYE, weekly every Friday. You also build holiday pay working for ourselves.

My client will show you around and ask you to complete a short weld test (so must come to site with safety footwear) if successful you will be offered the job on the spot.
