Qualifications

• Proven MIG welding experience.
• Strong knowledge of structural welding techniques and standards.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment.
• Solid mechanical understanding for assembly and material handling.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations in welding/manufacturing.
• Capable of working both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate MIG welding equipment to join metal parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and instructions.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, shape and assemble sheet metal components.
• Perform fabrication tasks including cutting, grinding and finishing surfaces.
• Conduct quality checks on welds and finished products to ensure standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Assist in assembling fabricated parts into final products or structures.
• Troubleshoot minor welding equipment issues and perform basic maintenance.
