Job Title: MIG Welder

Location: Lydney

Salary: £15.09 - £17.35 per hour

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
• Friday: 07:30 - 13:30
• Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hours; double time at weekends

We are seeking a skilled and reliable MIG Welder to join our team in Lydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MIG welding in both horizontal and vertical positions across a variety of metal fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding in horizontal and vertical positions with precision and efficiency.
• Read and interpret welding drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain and care for welding equipment and tools.
• Identify and report any issues with materials or equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder.
• Ability to weld in horizontal and vertical positions. (Preffered but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read welding drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in a workshop/fabrication environment.
• Flexible and reliable with good teamwork skills.
