Job summary

Proactive Personnel Ltd currently seeks a MIG welder to join our Leyland site. You will bench/mig weld, interpret blueprints and follow welding procedures to assemble metal structures.

Hours are Monday to Thursday, 4-day week, 05:45 to 16:15. Pay is £14.55 per hour PAYE, with weekly pay every Friday. You will be invited to a short weld test on site; safety footwear is required.

On successful completion you may be offered a role on the spot after the test.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG welding in fabrication environments.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow welding procedures.
• Familiar with stick welding and other joining techniques.
• Ability to use power and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Committed to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Bench/MIG welding to fabricate and assemble metal components.
• Interpret blueprints and weld procedures to assemble structures.
• Utilise power and hand tools to cut, shape and weld metal.
