Job summary

Portico is seeking a Welcome Host to join our small team, based in the ground floor reception of a multi-occupied building in the city. You will be the face of the building, delivering a warm welcome to occupiers and visitors and ensuring a seamless customer journey.

You will manage the Front of House, engage with occupants, and support the building management team to bring our properties to life through outstanding service and proactive engagement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality, concierge, reception or front-of-house role is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.

• Take ownership of the Front of House experience and maintain a welcoming environment at all times.

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Welcome Host to join our small team, based in the ground floor reception operation of a multi-occupied building in the city.

As the face of the building, you will play a key role in creating memorable and emotionally engaging experiences for our occupiers, visitors, and guests.
You will take ownership of the Front of House environment, ensuring a seamless and authentic customer journey while supporting the wider management team with the smooth day-to-day operation of the building. Through exceptional service and a proactive approach, you will help bring our properties to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm, professional, and personalised welcome to all occupiers, visitors, and guests.
• Take ownership of the Front of House experience and maintain a welcoming environment at all times.

Salary: £35,942
Hours: 40 hours per week, shifts from 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri
