Job summary

YMCA Robin Hood Group in Mansfield and Ashfield is hiring a part-time Housing Duty Worker for weekend shifts. You’ll welcome residents, help them access support, monitor building security and keep simple records. No former housing experience is required, and training will be provided to help you succeed.

The role offers 23 hours weekly (weekends) with additional full‑time contracts available on a 3‑week rota elsewhere, plus a benefits package including leave, training and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• A willingness to learn and adapt; no housing experience required.
• Ability to work with residents from diverse backgrounds.
• Comfortable handling tasks independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents and visitors.
• Answer questions and help residents access support.
• Monitor CCTV and building security.
• Issue keys and manage lost keys.
• Complete simple administration tasks.
• Report incidents and keep records up to date.
• Support fire safety checks and maintain a safe environment.
