Job summary

YMCA Robin Hood Group in Mansfield is seeking a weekend Housing Duty Worker to join our Supported Housing team, helping young people aged 16-24 in our accommodation.

This part-time role is 23 hours per week on Saturdays and Sundays with a two-week rolling rota, with full-time shifts also available at both locations. No prior housing experience is required; training will be provided and you’ll work as part of a supportive team.

Looking for a weekend only, part-time role where no two days are the same?

We're looking for a friendly, reliable and caring people to join our Supported Housing team, helping young people aged 16-24 who live in our accommodation in Mansfield and Ashfield

You don't need previous housing experience. If you've got the right attitude, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.

Role Highlights

Job Title: Housing Duty Worker

Location: YMCA Mansfield, Commercial Gate, Mansfield, NG18 1EU

Hours: 23 hours per week Saturday to Sunday on a 2 week rolling rota.

(We also have full time contracts of 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday working on on a 3 week rolling rota available at both location!)

What will you be doing?

As a Housing Duty Worker, you'll help keep our building running smoothly and be one of the first people residents see when they need support.

• Welcoming residents and visitors
• Answering questions and helping people find the support they need
• Monitoring CCTV and building security
• Issuing keys and dealing with lost keys
• Reporting incidents and keeping records up to date
• Supporting fire safety checks
• Helping maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment

About You:

Previous experience in housing or support work is helpful, but it's not essential.

Shifts

We have full-time and part-time roles available:

Full time role – Monday to Friday only – 37.5 hours per week:

• 7:00am - 3:00pm
• 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• 11:00pm - 7:00am

Part-time role – Saturday to Sunday only – 23 hours per week:

• 11am - 11pm
• 11pm - 11am
