Job summary

YMCA Robin Hood Group in Mansfield is seeking a weekend Housing Duty Worker to join our Supported Housing team, helping young people aged 16-24 in our accommodation.

This part-time role is 23 hours per week on Saturdays and Sundays with a two-week rolling rota, with full-time shifts also available at both locations. No prior housing experience is required; training will be provided and you’ll work as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• No housing experience required; training provided.
• Attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to helping others.
• Previous experience in housing or youth work is helpful but not essential.
• Ability to work with residents aged 16-24.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming residents and visitors.
• Answering questions and helping people find support.
• Monitoring CCTV and building security.
• Issuing keys and handling lost keys.
• Reporting incidents and keeping records up to date.
• Supporting fire safety checks.
• Helping maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
