Job summary

Farleigh Hospice in Maldon is seeking a Weekend Retail Assistant Manager to lead the charity shop and donation centre. You will recruit, train and support volunteers, drive sales, maintain shop presentation and ensure accurate cash handling in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service and a sales-focused mindset, with weekend availability and commitment to the charity’s values and community. A proactive, solutions-oriented approach is essential.

• Proven leadership and ability to manage volunteers effectively.

Weekend Retail Assistant Manager

Location: Maldon

Farleigh Hospice is a high-performing organisation providing specialist palliative and end-of-life care for people with life-limiting illnesses across Mid Essex. As our retail team continues to grow and evolve to meet the changing needs of our community, we are looking for a highly motivated Retail Assistant Manager to join our Maldon clearance shop and donation centre.
