Alongside is seeking a Weekend Hostel Support Worker in Bath to provide weekend support at Manvers Street Hostel. You will work Saturdays and Sundays on a rota, delivering person-centred support to vulnerable individuals, helping them access services and stay safe.

The role is part-time, offering meaningful shifts in a fast-paced, 24/7 hostel environment with strong teamwork and opportunities to make a difference in the local community.

Qualifications

• Empathy and understanding of client needs.
• Strong communication with clients and external agencies.
• Willingness to work weekends on a rota.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and information to clients and enable access to appropriate services.
• Work as part of the Hostel team and liaise with external agencies.
• Oversee day-to-day health and safety and ensure safe operation of the accommodation.
• Deliver a high-quality, person-centred service to all clients.
