Job summary

Marks & Spencer Plc is seeking a store colleague to lead the fill operation, coordinating resources to serve, sell and fill. This frontline role covers opening and closing duties, including cash handling and logging issues, while acting as a key holder for call-outs and peripheral hours.

You will drive a clean, safe, well-presented store, model great customer service and embody M&S behaviours. You’ll support nearby stores as needed and help build a positive team atmosphere across shifts,

Responsibilities

• Lead the fill operation, coordinating resource to service, sell and fill.
• Coordinate resource to deliver operational tasks during the fill operation and in the absence of the Colleague Manager.
• Lead the fill operation, coaching colleagues on One Best Way and driving productivity in readiness for store opening.
• Allocate resource effectively to deliver a quick payment experience.
• Enable all daily operational processes to be implemented efficiently across their area of the store, at the correct times.
• Coordinate the team to deliver a clean, safe and well-presented store.
• Play their part in creating a great team atmosphere that is inclusive of everyone.
• Role model great Customer Service and M&S behaviours and Colleague Expectations.
• Support Colleague Managers by sharing observations to deliver high performance and recognise great colleagues.
• Support nearby stores if operationally required.
• Responsible for being a key holder and answering call outs as required.
• Responsible for opening/closing tasks, including receipt of vehicles, temperature controls, logging issues with Helpdesks, cash handling and TSL compliance in peripheral hours.
