Job summary

HC-One is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator to support dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes across the UK. The role is 15 hours per week with weekend work on Saturdays and Sundays and occasional weekdays.

You will plan and deliver engaging activities to delight residents, support fundraising, and help the care team involve residents in new ideas, always prioritising kindness and resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Background in working with vulnerable individuals is preferred.
• Ability to plan and implement engaging activities for residents.
• Strong planning, organisational and IT skills.
• Safeguarding training and awareness are expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement resident activities.
• Assist Home Manager with fundraising events.
• Encourage residents to socialise and participate in activities.
