Job summary

HC-One is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator to design and run engaging activities for Residents across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You will help the Home Manager organise fundraising events and encourage residents to socialise through creative activity ideas, always with kindness at the forefront.

You will need a background with vulnerable individuals, strong planning and IT skills, and the ability to work well with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Background in working with vulnerable individuals or care settings.
• Able to develop activity programmes with energy and kindness.
• Excellent planning, organisation and IT skills; time management.
• Safeguarding training and ability to report concerns as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities that delight residents.
• Assist Home Manager with fundraising events and resident engagement.
• Coordinate with care home team to encourage social interaction and hobby-based activities.
