Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-commissioning cleaning and flushing.

Job Title: Water Treatment / Water Hygiene Engineer. Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. Salary / Benefits £22k – £33k + Training + Benefits

We have an industry leading Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company, who provide the full range of water management services to Commercial, Leisure, Hospitality, and Manufacturing sites across the North East. They are now seeking to take on a Water Treatment / Water Hygiene Engineer to join their team of established engineers. You will be providing their clients with high quality services e.g., tank inspections, TMV servicing, water sampling, temperature monitoring and dosing of closed systems. Due to the nature of the contracts, the successful candidate must be willing to travel extensively within the role.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Peterlee, Hartlepool, Redcar, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Barnard Castle, Durham, Consett, Hexham, Tynemouth, South Shields, Morpeth, Ashington, Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Experience & Qualifications

• Will hold experience working within the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene industry working as an engineer.
• Experience covering a varied site base.
• Experience servicing on softener and reverse osmosis units. (Desirable)
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work well independently.
• IT literate.
• Detailed knowledge of ACoP L8 / Health and Safety guidelines.
