Our client is a well-established name in the water treatment/water hygiene industry and due to continued expansion they are now actively seeking a commercially focused and driven Water Treatment Operations Manager in the Central Scotland region. Applications will be considered from East Lothian, South Lanarkshire and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience
  • Must have a strong educational, chemical, technical, management, accounts and sales background.
  • Needs to have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the water treatment industry and legislations.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience working in this role within the water treatment industry.
  • Competent with the Microsoft office package.
Key Responsibilities
  • Secure, manage and develop new accounts whilst managing all existing ones.
  • Management of cooling tower, steam boiler, hot and cold water systems, etc.
  • Build and maintain a professional working relationship with the company’s large portfolio of clients.
  • Produce quotations and tenders for clients.
  • Producing reports and attending meetings to discuss findings.
  • Ensure staff appropriately trained and address any issues.
  • Increasing customer base by maximizing opportunities even further.
  • Promoting good practice with regards to jobs undertaken.
