Responsibilities

• Servicing hot & cold water systems, including routine cleaning and disinfecting.
• Chemical tank cleans and temperature monitoring.
• Understanding schematic drawings of water systems and conducting inspections.
• Installation and preventative maintenance on chemical dosing systems.
• Checking water quality in softeners and monitoring inhibitor levels in boilers.
• Conducting closed system analysis and temperature monitoring.

Job description

This company is a well-established and growing water hygiene/treatment company specialising in legionella and water treatment disciplines. They are currently seeking a competent and experienced Water Treatment Engineer in and around the Stoke on Trent area. They will consider applications from Stafford, Crewe, Telford, Derby and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience:

• Must have extensive experience working in this role within the water treatment industry.
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• A strong working knowledge of the water treatment/hygiene industry.
• IT Literate.

Role:

• Servicing of hot & cold water systems, some routine cleaning and disinfecting work etc.
• Chemical tank cleans, temperature monitoring, cooling towers and chlorination – steam boilers.
• Understanding of schematic drawings of hot and cold water systems, cold water storage tank inspections.
• Carrying out installation and preventative maintenance on chemical dosing systems.
• Checking the water quality in softeners and levels of inhibitors in boiler systems.
• Closed system analysis of LTHW and CHW and results, temperature monitoring.
