Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Mobile Water Technician to cover a fixed contract at Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry, with occasional visits to sites across the Midlands. You will perform Legionella maintenance, PPMs, monitoring, and water system disinfections in line with L8 and company procedures.

Experience in Compliance Servicing or Water Treatment is preferred, with opportunities for development through Mitie's benefits and training pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience in Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment required.
• Applicants with limited or no direct experience may apply if they have relevant experience in similar fields.
• Advanced knowledge of maintaining water systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete Legionella maintenance PPMs and remedial cleaning.
• Perform routine monitoring per Approved Code of Practice L8.
• Maintain water log books and documentation per guidelines.
• Carry out water system disinfections per L8 and procedures.
• Test, service and maintain thermostatic valves and basic plumbing as needed.

We're looking for a Mobile Water Technician, to cover a fixed contract at Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry, although other visits to other sites across the Midlands will be required from time to time

Role Responsibilities:

• Completing a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling and tank cleaning
• Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8
• Maintain our customer's water log books and complete the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy
• Carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.
• Testing, servicing and maintaining of thermostatic mixing valves and basic plumbing works where required.

What we are looking for:

• Someone with previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment
• We welcome applicants with limited or no direct experience, provided they have relevant experience in similar fields
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable
