Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Water Technician - Level 2 to support a fixed contract at Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry, with occasional travel across the Midlands. The role requires carrying out water hygiene, Legionella compliance work and associated testing across sites, including Bournemouth (mobile) assignments.

You will perform TMV servicing, tank cleaning, sampling and documentation, with training and progression opportunities within a leading facilities management team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within Water Hygiene, Legionella Monitoring, Compliance Servicing or Water Treatment.
• Experience leading cold water tank cleaning activities and working in confined spaces.
• Good knowledge of ACoP L8 requirements and water system maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Legionella maintenance PPMs, water sampling, chemical testing, remedial cleaning and minor plumbing works.
• Lead cold water storage tank cleaning and disinfection activities, ensuring all work is completed in line with ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Test, service and maintain TMVs, including the replacement of TMV and TMT filters and cartridges.
• Maintain accurate water logbooks and compliance documentation across customer sites.

You'll play a key role in delivering water hygiene and Legionella compliance services, ensuring water systems remain safe, compliant and operational.
