Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Mobile Water Technician to cover the Cumbria region. The role focuses on Legionella maintenance, routine monitoring, and documentation in line with L8 guidelines. You will also carry out water system disinfections and valve maintenance.

Applicants with experience in Compliance Servicing or Water Treatment are welcomed; those with limited direct experience but relevant field exposure will be considered. Training and development are offered along with lifestyle perks.

• Limited or no direct experience considered with relevant field exposure.
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete Legionella maintenance PPMs including temp monitoring and water sampling.
• Carry out routine monitoring tasks in line with code of practice L8.
• Maintain customer water log books and document per guidelines.
• Perform water system clean and disinfections per L8 and procedures.
• Test, service and maintain thermostatic mixing valves.

We're looking for a Mobile Water Technician, to cover the Cumbria Region

• Completing a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs like temp monitoring, water sampling, expansion vessel flushing and little used outlet flushing, tank cleaning experience would be an advantage.
• Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8
• Maintain our customer's water log books and complete the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy
• Carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.
• Testing, servicing and maintaining of thermostatic mixing valves

What we're looking for:

• Someone with previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment
• We welcome applicants with limited or no direct experience, provided they have relevant experience in similar fields
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable
